These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bodega Tapas website and services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. About Us

Bodega Tapas operates Spanish tapas restaurants in Dorset. References to “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Bodega Tapas and its affiliated locations.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the website in any way that is fraudulent or harmful
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
  • Introduce viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious software
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of the website without permission

3. Reservations & Bookings

Reservations made through our website or by telephone are subject to the following conditions:

  • Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation
  • We request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or amend a booking
  • For groups of 8 or more, a deposit may be required to secure the booking
  • We reserve the right to release your table if you are more than 15 minutes late without notice
  • Specific table requests are accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed

4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices displayed on our menus and website are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate
  • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice
  • We accept major credit and debit cards. Cash payments are also accepted
  • A discretionary service charge may be applied for groups of a certain size, as stated on our menu
  • Gratuities are voluntary and at the discretion of the customer

5. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

We take food allergies and intolerances very seriously. However:

  • It is your responsibility to inform our staff of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering
  • Whilst we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee that our dishes are entirely free from allergens due to the nature of our kitchen environment
  • Full allergen information is available upon request at each of our locations

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics and design, is the property of Bodega Tapas or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of these sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

8. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated
  • Gift vouchers must be presented at the time of payment
  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced
  • We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any gift voucher

9. Private Events & Hire

Private dining and event bookings are subject to separate terms and conditions which will be provided at the time of booking. A signed agreement and deposit are required to confirm private hire bookings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law

11. Conduct on Premises

We reserve the right to refuse service or ask any customer to leave our premises if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive or threatening to other guests or staff. We operate a zero-tolerance policy on abusive behaviour towards our team members.

12. Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
